Put contact information on each page of your web site. Make it easy for customers to buy from you. If they print a page from your site to show others, having your contact information on the page could make the sale.

Q: Can we really do business together if I live in another state?
Absolutely. While it's nice to have that personal contact, truth is, much
of the work that web designers do is done with Internet, e-mail and phone. Clients generally find it easier to
correspond with email then to set up meeting times every week.
Q: How do I know that you are legit? Money is an issue with me
and I can't afford to choose the wrong design company.
Great question. As far as being legit, I have registered NiceSiteDesign with the state of Iowa
and the IRS.
I understand money issues that is why I offer the NO Prepayment Plan. It will cost you nothing
for me to start your site. After I build the site at a respectable time and you approve it,
then you pay.

What if we don't need a whole website?
I am frequently asked to develop parts of a website such as a logo, new content, search functionality, banner ads, etc. I am happy to oblige, just let me know what your company needs.
Q: What do I need to do to get my files onto your web server?
You may use the nicesitedesign CPanel or you can use a FTP client to upload your files into your web directory:
- CuteFTP (Windows)
- WS_FTP (Windows)
- Fetch for Macintosh
Browse to your web directory. After the whole site is uploaded, check the links and images with a web browser.
Q: How long does it take to have a web site designed?
The time frame is determined by the size of your web site, the complexity of your site design, and our current client design schedule.
Q: Where do I put my files?
All home pages must reside in the directory called web/ in your account. It's created automatically when we generate the account. The filename usually end with .html but filenames ending with .htm are also accepted. It's advisable to use one naming convention only... it makes things easier to maintain links on your pages.
Q: Will I have unlimited access to update my pages ?
You have unlimited access via FTP 24-hours a day. As such, you can create and maintain your web pages on your own computer and upload files to your web site at your leisure.
Q: How would I benefit from having a website of my own?
