Bruce has worked at radio stations in Illinois and Iowa, including a short stint at KLSS in Mason City. Bruce also served as program director and operations manager at Lazer 103 in Des Moines for four years. In 1984, Bruce was nominated by Billboards magazine for Small Market Programmer Of The Year. Bruce co-hosted the Jerry Lewis MD Telethon in Des Moines that same year.

Bruce left radio in 1987, went back to school, and received a Business Management degree. Missing the excitement of radio, Bruce made the decision to launch a mobile DJ service. Starting with a personal record collection of over 3000 titles, and a great home stereo, Magical Musical Tour was born!

"I love watching people have a great time," Bruce said about what drives him to continue into his second decade. Bruce states, "Reasonably priced, personal service, and having fun makes Magical Musical Tour stand above the rest."
