I am Rick Murray, the owner of NICE Site Design LLC. I started in the Web design realm by accident. My father-in-law, an Iowa State Engineering professor, thought I might be interested in Web development because I enjoyed creative work. And he was right.

I remember working every spare hour learning HTML and web design. So I went back to college at night to learn more about web development. It paid off. In 2002, I got my first web design job at the Globe Gazette in Mason City. I designed websites, banners, logos, online ads, and more for two years. I even decided to open my own side business in 2004, NICE Site Design, LLC.

Today, I am a front-end web developer for a local state agency in Iowa while still running my web design business serving the Ames and Des Moines area.

I am a devoted web/mobile designer, armed with Adobe Creative Suite, HTML 5, CSS and jquery tools. I work in all types of web environments including SharePoint, WordPress, DNN, Volusion, and WIX. I have built hundreds of websites in my 14 years of web work. My business has always generated word of mouth and repeat customers, and I'm blessed to have gained their trust. I hope I can earn your trust, too.
